The title of each Content Document allows its content to be identified.

Objectives

  • Allow users to immediately identify the nature of the content of each page in the reading system window or in screen readers.
  • Improve the accessibility of content to people with disabilities.

Implementation

  • Write the content of the title element of each page so that it describes, as concisely as possible, the content or function of the page

Control

  • Check that each page title (title element) identifies the content or function of the page.

Validation

  • Needs to be human verified.
